PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATION CLERK

Status: Regular / FullTime Location: Mississauga, ON

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging individual who is ready and willing to challenge themselves by utilizing their unique collection of knowledge, skills and experience in new ways in the following capacity:

What you’ll be doing:

  • To assist in the purchasing of product, expediting delivery of products, reduce non-moving inventory, monitor contract management as well as Distribution Centers non-stock inventory, and assist the CSR community in servicing customers by adhering to CB’s Vision.
  • Maintain files within our ERP (resource management system), ensuring proper documentation is received, kept current and that items are followed-up on in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution Center to review and maintain non-stock inventory.
  • Purchasing of product as required (i.e. rush, stock, customer-specific) using ERP system.
  • Obtaining and updating delivery dates according to vendor confirmations.
  • Provide product pricing and availability to CB branches when requested.
  • Assist in returning no-move inventory to vendors.
  • Assist in redistribution of slow and/or no-move inventory.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fully bilingual (written and spoken) in French and English preferred (not required)
  • Exhibits high integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Curious, probing, inquisitive and eager to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem solving ability.
  • High resilience; able to remain composed in stressful situations, and deliver under pressure.
  • Good team player with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • High-school diploma (or equivalent); Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
  • Prior experience in purchasing and/or inventory management preferred.
