WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Actively engage in continuous talent management practices with team members (i.e. performance management, coaching, career planning, etc.) in alignment with CB’s processes and corporate standards.
Initiate and participate in regular (bi-weekly) team meetings; clearly and regularly communicate corporate and contract objectives with the team to maintain strategic alignment with service objectives.
Conduct regular branch meetings with the engagement of Sales and Operations teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Collaborate with sales teams to manage profit and loss targets; set pricing; and engage in strategic planning for large quotations.
Attend vendor meetings on a quarterly basis, or as needed based on business need.
Review, manage, and maintain branch processes; and comply with all inventory management processes and procedures.
Audit and maintain Conveyor Systems & Components division processes to ensure compliance with health & safety and CB’s ISO–9001 standards; actively identify areas for improved efficiency/effectiveness.
Efficiently manage division workflow and resources, maintaining smooth operation; implement sound solutions to mitigate workforce gaps (e.g. headcount and succession planning) to ensure continuous customer and team support.
Action and resolve escalation issues professionally and in a timely manner, while role modelling CB’s constructive and customer focused culture.
Coach and guide internal customers to promote effective knowledge sharing and competency development/enhancement.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO OUR TEAM:
Post-secondary degree or diploma, with a focus in business or a technical discipline preferred.
2-3 years people management experience
Experience interacting with all levels of an organization from Senior Management to field, as well as customers.
5 years experience in MRO industry or conveyor systems and related components and services; or equivalent experience in a similar industry
Experience in sales is a strong asset
Excellent analytical skills
Good leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to develop strong relationships
Proficient in Excel, Word; as well as PowerPoint advanced presentations
Evidence-based decision making skills
