WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Status: Full Time Permanent Location: Mississauga, ON

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the daily warehouse operations for our Central Warehouse; ensuring adherence to and improvement of all applicable health and safety requirements and quality standards; and ensuring the delivery of CB’s value added supply chain solutions.

We are seeking a WAREHOUSE MANAGER

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze, interpret, and continuously improve departmental processes and performance metrics, engaging all key stakeholders to achieve on-time delivery.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to the Distribution Center team members regarding process and quality standards adherence.
  • Ensure optimized efficiency by continuously evaluating, modifying, and maintaining physical warehouse layout and associated interactions.
  • Engage in the selection of and negotiation with Carriers to control costs and maximize our delivery capability.
  • Conduct logistics planning; responsible for the efficient management of CB delivery/pick-up routes.
  • Effectively manage Central Warehouse Administration department which is responsible for KPI publication, report maintenance, warehouse incident investigation, and cycle count support

What you’ll bring to our team:

  • Familiarity with and adherence of ISO Standards
  • Experience developing work instructions
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 3-5 years in a managerial role; focused background in operations
  • Minimum 7 years experience with distribution/manufacturing organization
